We are looking for a dynamic Chief Investment Officer (CIO) to lead our investment strategies and build robust relationships with venture capital firms, institutional investors, and strategic partners.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Strategy: Define & execute Nordek’s fundraising strategies strategy, to position it as leader in Web3/Crypto space ensuring alignment with Nordek’s growth objectives and vision.

Fundraising & Investor Relations: Drive fundraising efforts, manage investor relations, represent Nordek to potential investors, and other financial stakeholders to secure funding and foster long-term partnerships.

Capital Deployment: Oversee the allocation of raised capital into strategic initiatives that maximize ROI and accelerate NORDEK’s growth.

Market Insights & Brand Building: Analyze market trends, competitor strategies, and emerging opportunities. Develop and implement go-to-market strategies, focusing on building the company’s brand, awareness, and presence within the Web3 and Crypto communities.

Partnerships & Ecosystem Development: Identify and lead strategic partnerships, collaborations, & business development opportunities that support Nordek’s growth objectives while identifying synergies that enhance value for the investors and the NORDEK community.

Proactiveness: Oversee financial planning, budgeting, & business operations to ensure profitability and sustainable growth while keeping abreast of emerging trends and best practices in the Blockchain/Web3 industry proactively.

Must Have:

Proven track record of decision-making wherein selected the right investment opportunities for the organisation. Prior experience in high-growth start-up environments is essential.

Exceptional communication skills with ability to lead, influence, and direct investment opportunities at fast pace.

Strong strategic mindset with an ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.

Excellent networking, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

In-depth understanding of blockchain industry, passion for new tech/fin-tech and understanding of cryptocurrencies and the WEB3 ecosystem

Education and Experience:

A degree in finance or a relevant field from an accredited institution, advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CFA) are a plus.

Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in FIN-TECH or related industry with extensive knowledge of finance, decentralized finance (DeFi), and relevant markets
