Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in blockchain technology and decentralized applications (dApps). As a QA Engineer at Nordek Blockchain, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our blockchain-based applications through functional testing, load testing, and performance testing.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and define test strategies and plans for blockchain-based applications.

• Design and execute test cases for functional testing, ensuring that all features and functionalities of the applications meet specified requirements.

• Perform load testing and performance testing to assess the scalability and reliability of blockchain networks and applications.

• Identify and report bugs, defects, and performance issues, and work closely with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve them.

• Conduct regression testing to ensure that software updates and changes do not adversely affect existing functionality.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in blockchain technology, decentralized finance (DeFi), and dApps to continuously improve testing methodologies and techniques.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 2 to 3 years of experience as a QA Engineer, with a focus on testing blockchain-based applications.

• Good understanding of blockchain technology, including consensus algorithms, decentralized networks, and smart contracts.

• Familiarity with decentralized applications (dApps), wallets, decentralized data, and decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols.

• Proficiency in functional testing methodologies, including test case design, execution, and reporting.

• Experience with load testing and performance testing tools and techniques for assessing the scalability and performance of blockchain networks and applications.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with layer 2 blockchain solutions and delegated Proof of Stake (dPos) consensus mechanisms.

• Certification in software testing or blockchain technology.

• Knowledge of Ethereum, Solidity, or other blockchain platforms and programming languages.
