The Hive

 is building the intelligence layer of crypto autonomous AI agents that interact with DeFi, staking, governance, and NFT protocols across Solana. We’re backed by early Web3 investors and are assembling a lean team of crypto-native builders who live and breathe on-chain.

We’re now looking for a Solana Smart Contract Engineer to help us scale our network of agents and on-chain logic.

🧠 What you’ll do:

1. Build and optimize Solana programs (Rust) that underpin staking, governance, and agent interactions.
2. Design secure, gas-efficient smart contracts tailored for autonomous agents.
3. Collaborate closely with AI engineers to map agent behavior to on-chain actions.
4. Review and test smart contracts rigorously before shipping to mainnet.
5. Own the lifecycle of your code - from architecture to audit to deployment.

🧬 Who you are:

1. You’ve built and deployed live Solana programs (anchor or low-level Rust).
2. Deep understanding of Solana runtime, account model, and PDAs.
3. Crypto-native: you actively use DeFi, DAO tooling, and own NFTs (bonus for Solana ecosystem familiarity).
4. Passion for clean, secure code and testing practices.
5. Comfortable working async, remote-first, and with autonomy.
