The Role

We are in search of a dedicated Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to enrich our development team. This role is crucial within our company as it focuses on the advancement and engineering of comprehensive testing protocols for RPC APIs and blockchain infrastructure projects. As a Quality Engineer, you'll play a key role in ensuring the high quality, reliability, and performance of our cutting-edge blockchain services and applications. Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and implement testing solutions that address the unique challenges of blockchain technology and high throughput RPC APIs, websockets and data streams. The position requires a combination of technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

What You'll Do

• Test Development and Execution: Design and implement automated testing suites for RPC APIs and blockchain infrastructure to ensure functional correctness, performance, and security. Development and execute test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures.
• API, websocket, RPC Testing Expertise: Leverage your experience to identify, reproduce, and report bugs and vulnerabilities. Work closely with development and infrastructure teams to develop comprehensive testing objectives and guide your work.
• Automation and Continuous Integration: Create and maintain an automation framework for repeated test cases to streamline the testing process. Integrate testing protocols into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure continuous quality and efficiency.
• Performance Testing: Create software to execute extensive performance testing to benchmark and improve the responsiveness and scalability of our systems.
• Quality Metrics: Extend testing solutions to enhance our internal production metrics and system monitoring.
• Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing: Work closely with the development, operations, and product teams to align testing strategies with business objectives and user needs. Share knowledge and best practices with team members to foster a culture of quality and excellence.

What You'll Bring

• Proven Quality Engineering Experience: At least 3 years of experience in quality engineering, with a focus on testing complex APIs and a strong background in blockchain infrastructure projects.
• Software Engineering Background: Ability to read/understand and develop testing solutions in multiple programming languages.
• Technical Proficiency: Broad experience working with RPC and REST APIs. Proficient in programming languages relevant to test automation (e.g., Python, JavaScript), and familiar with automation frameworks and toolsets. Experience with blockchain technology is an asset.
• Ability to Learn and Adapt Fast: Acquire new skills and knowledge quickly to adapt to the highly dynamic blockchain environment. 
• Independence: Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast paced, remote work environment with a high degree of independence and autonomy.
• Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex software systems, design comprehensive testing strategies, and solve problems creatively and effectively.
• DevOps and CI/CD Experience: Experience with DevOps practices and tools, and integrating testing within CI/CD pipelines to achieve continuous testing and delivery.
• Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and interact effectively with different levels of management and cross-functional teams.

The base salary range and level for this position are $132,613 - $147,348 USD per year and level P4. International ranges, in local currency, will be discussed during the hiring process with applicable candidates. This role is eligible for a quarterly bonus tied to company and individual goal achievement. We consider years of experience, level of proficiency in job function, the technical competencies required and location when determining base salary ranges for positions and levels.
