We are one of the leading Haskell consultancies in the fintech and blockchain with a passion for Haskell and open source software. Weve been around for nearly 5 years and have grown to nearly 100 people!

We are now looking to hire for two new positions, a remote Project Manager and Delivery Manager to join our team, on a full time basis. Description of the role and can discussed in an interview.

Job Description:

• Delivery Manager:
  • Establishing and managing customer expectations on delivery of the main project
  • Performing ancilliary reasearch and supporting the client for new projects (internal sales)
  • Arranging logistics for the product to ship (cross-team communication with frontend/offchain services)
  • Encouraging MVP driven design choices and actively promoting these choices to both customer and developer teams
  • Unblocking the developer team by any means necessary.
  • Negotiate compromises with the client to ensure positive outcomes
  • Being actively engaged in white paper -> high level spec translations and project planning.
  • Escalating issues that arise beyond the scope of a single project/department/client scope
  • Steering products toward MVP, delivery targets, audit-readiness and getting required resources in place to do so.
  • Assisting as needed with Sales and new client onboarding procedures
  Project Manager:
  • Taking charge of the project and its priorities, making final decisions by carefully weighing project, product and technical requirements.
  • Running sprint meetings/demo meetings, writing and assign tickets
  • Project kick-off, MVP planning, integration and deployment planning
  • Managing customer expectations, gathering requirements and reporting
  • Onboarding new members to the team
  • Time filing and checking time filled by the team, upward reporting
  • Account management
  • Working closely with team leads, tech leads and the product managers
  • Coordinating with tech lead on technical requirements and how this affects project management/tickets/prioritization
  • Coordinating with the product manager to ensure the project is aligned with product requirements; often this is the client

• Strong project management experience
• Team Leadership experience
• Knowledge of the Blockchain space and Cardano is a bonus
• Understanding of current and upcoming industry developments
• Experience in Haskell is a bonus
• Outstanding communication and leadership skills
• Attention to detail

Hiring Process:

Our Hiring process is very flexible, and can be completed within as short as 2 weeks. We will give you a short homework exercise to complete to check your technical skills. This will be followed by a technical interview and a management interview ( we can merge the two into one call).
