Description

MLabs is currently establishing a cybersecurity department and seeking an individual to lead the efforts. The role involves managing all stages and aspects of cybersecurity projects, including bidding, project management, hiring, and conducting actual operations. The projects are conditional on winning the bids, but you can expect to work on various forms of penetration testing, security consulting for improving defensive postures and compliance.

• We are seeking an information/cybersecurity engineer with extensive experience in conducting offensive and defensive projects across operational, management, and business aspects.
• You've done your fair share of penetration testing, delving into code and behaviour, identifying vulnerabilities, crafting exploits, and providing well-structured and comprehensive vulnerability reports to your clients. You're also no stranger to malware analysis and using standard reverse engineering toolkits to understand malware behaviour from its executable form. You've participated in security incidents in some capacity, performing forensics on collected incident artifacts and analysing telemetry data to substantiate hunting hypotheses. You understand well the technological and organizational architecture that a modern, robust, and comprehensive security team must have in a given organization.
• You dont shy away from automating repetitive tasks.
• You know how to effectively reason about complex systems, applications, and protocols. You are comfortable with foundational topics in computer engineering, such as operating systems, networking protocols, cryptography, and programming languages.
• Youre able to interview, assess and hire security professionals and build a team that can deliver on their objectives.
• You know how to organize and communicate your work effectively with your team members, business partners and other stakeholders.

Because of the bids were currently pursuing wed prioritize individuals with the following experience:

• Provided cybersecurity services to large public sector organizations,
• Worked with Windows based enterprise networks,
• Worked with SCADA/Industrial Control Systems,
• Worked with and applied relevant frameworks and standards in security (e.g. OWASP, MITRE),
• Relevant certifications (e.g CISSP, CISM, CEH) are highly desirable as well,
• Worked on ISO/IEC 27001 compliance.
