About the job and job purpose

Decubate seeks an experienced crypto-native business developer (BD) to join our team. As a BD, you understand the IDO landscape like no other and know how to level with C-level executives in the space confidently. 


What you’ll be doing:

  • Maintain close relations with our current strategic partnership network. 

  • Develop and implement strategies to grow the partnership network to attract more top-level deal flow. 

  • Keeping track of all the rapid developments in the crypto market to stay on top of the latest.

  • Develop a deep understanding of our (potential) partner’s business to level in conversations and identify ways to deliver/extract value and build fruitful, long-lasting collaborations.

  • Identify and articulate bottlenecks, risks, and opportunities for improvement in our current sales strategies and commercial processes.

  • Maintaining updated systems & documentation related to your activities for efficient internal team collaborations.

  • Supporting our CEO in his sales calls, doing project due diligence for IDOs, and important C-level follow-ups. 

  • Represent Decubate professionally at international networking events. 

  • Work closely with our sales and marketing team to ensure optimal internal alignment in achieving our commercial objectives. 

  • Develop a deep understanding of our product- and service offerings with the ability to reproduce and pitch them effectively on the spot when needed. 

Your skills and experience

  • 2+ years of proven success in a sales and/or business development position.

  • A deep understanding of the crypto space, supported by a proven track record of earlier jobs in crypto and/or as a seasoned crypto investor. 

  • Experience conversing with technology executives and the ability to think on the fly.

  • Ability to think outside the box when identifying opportunities to grow the business further. 

  • Ability to learn quickly, primarily because of your great affinity for the space, our products/services, and future vision.

  • The ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment with peers who challenge you to be better. Excellent email and conversational communication skills. 

  • A high degree of diligence and accountability.

  • A keenly developed competitive nature.

  • A "one-speed" energy with a highly self-driven sense of motivation.

    Salary range: $2000 - $3500 + commission
