SODAX is a next-generation decentralized finance (DeFi) protocol that enables seamless cross-chain trading and unified liquidity across multiple blockchains. The Role

We're looking for a Business Development Lead to scale SODAX's partnership strategy. You'll own the full BD function—from building systematic processes and managing a growing team to driving ecosystem growth through strategic partnerships with DeFi protocols, DEX aggregators, wallets, and L1/L2 ecosystems.

This is a leadership role where you'll be responsible for both strategic direction and hands-on execution. You'll manage a team, establish transparent workflows, and deliver measurable results in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

Lead the BD Function & Build the Team

  1. Manage and mentor BD team members
  2. Build a high-performing culture and develop processes, playbooks, and career paths for the team

Own Pipeline & Drive Deal Execution

  1. Build and manage a robust pipeline across DeFi protocols, DEX aggregators, wallets, and blockchain ecosystems
  2. Execute high-volume outreach, close high-impact integrations, and negotiate commercial agreements
  3. Maintain disciplined CRM tracking as daily workflow standard for entire team

Develop Strategy & Drive Collaboration

  1. Create clear targeting strategy, conduct competitive intelligence, and present insights to leadership
  2. Develop sales decks and materials while articulating SODAX's unique value propositions
  3. Partner with Product/Engineering and Content/Marketing to align on requirements and campaigns

Build Scalable Systems

  1. Establish systematic tracking, reporting, and repeatable playbooks that enable the function to scale
  2. Continuously optimize processes and ensure smooth post-integration partner relationships

What We're Looking For

Required Experience

  1. 5+ years in enterprise software BD/Sales, preferably in Web3, DeFi, cross-chain infrastructure, or DEX aggregator ecosystems
  2. 2+ years managing direct reports with proven ability to build, mentor, and scale high-performing teams
  3. Proven track record closing complex B2B partnerships with measurable growth outcomes
  4. Technical fluency in DeFi mechanics (AMMs, liquidity, cross-chain bridges), SDK/API integrations, and blockchain infrastructure
  5. Systematic approach to pipeline management with experience implementing CRM tools and BD processes at scale

Bonus Points

  1. Experience with intent-based protocols, solver networks, or interoperability solutions
  2. Existing network among DeFi protocols, DEX aggregators, wallets, or L1/L2 ecosystems
  3. Experience building BD functions from scratch at early-stage startups
