Summary

Take ownership of designing the cloud security roadmap and put in place an implementation plan. The candidate will be expected to enforce security controls across the platform and services used to ensure protection against threats. The role will entail staying current with an understanding of cyber security threats in general as well as specific to a FinTech / Crypto environment.

Responsibilities

1. Design infrastructure and its implementation to protect CoinSwitch systems.
2. Provide security expertise and guidance to a diverse set of CoinSwitch engineering and business teams.
3. Conduct security reviews of core system and production infrastructure.
4. Help drive secure by default paradigm into CoinSwitch's engineering processes.
5. Build security tools and processes using Python or Go for critical infrastructure protection, monitoring and remediation.

What are we looking for?

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
2. 2-4 years of relevant industry experience in AWS operations and security.
3. Coding experience in Python, we use python.
4. Experience building, maintaining, and securing workloads in ECS and Kubernetes.
5. Well-versed in developing security baselines for operating environments and assessing existing cloud infrastructure against those baselines.
6. Deep understanding of identity and access management in the cloud.
7. Experience with cryptography and security protocols.
8. Familiar with CASB solutions and their implementation
9. Experience with security monitoring and intrusion detection in the cloud.
