Responsibility:

• Lead and manage a team on various fintech, product, application, and security projects internally to ensure timeliness and quality of deliverables;
• Assisting the CTO/ Director to roll out the R&D strategies, roadmaps and directions on development for the exchange platforms and mobile apps to stay at the forefront of scientific advancement;
• Identify opportunities and market trends by performing market and competitor analysis;
• Driving cross-technology collaborations with different stakeholders;
• Brainstorm and mock-up design ideas with a cross-functional team;
• Acting as the technology leader in Hong Kong to lead the local developers & engineers to ensure testing, design and projects comply with high-quality standards;
• Coach and guide junior and mid-level developers and code review;
• Implement or maintain strict security measures to ensure network and data security;
• Provide responses and recommendations on improvements to the CTO/ Director;
• Prepare documentation and distribution of artefacts for deployment and release, as well as paperwork related to project details (e.g. work plans and deployment schedules);
• Maintain an updated IT assets inventory and ensure no unlicensed or outdated software is in use.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or any related;
• At least 15 years of post-qualification IT experience along with team-leading experience;
• In-depth knowledge of Java (10+ years or above of hands-on experience );
• Nice to have C++, Python, Node.js, React.js, GoLang, SpringBoot, SpringCloud, and Dubbo but not a must;
• Familiarity with Spring, Mybatis, JVM, MySQL, Redis, ElasticSearch, various public chains such as Ethereum/ Polkadot/ Cosmos/ Layer2/ EVM, etc;
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and management skills;
• Good interpersonal and communication skills with hands-on experience to provide first-line IT support to internal users;
• Hands-on experience in managing backend, frontend, DevOps, and security projects and solutions;
• Proactive and flexible, willing to take challenges and adapt to a fast-paced environment;
• Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin);
• Candidate with more experience would be considered as a Senior IT Manager.
