The Opportunity

A capital markets infrastructure company based in Singapore is hiring a Head of Product & Technology to lead the strategic development and delivery of institutional-grade market infrastructure.

The company provides regulated technology and services spanning custody, tokenisation, and digital exchange infrastructure, enabling banks, exchanges, and financial institutions across Asia to bring regulated financial instruments onto modern digital rails.

This role sits at the intersection of capital markets, product strategy, and engineering leadership. You'll define the product roadmap, guide technology architecture, and lead the product and engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure, and compliant solutions for institutional clients.

You need to be comfortable operating in a regulated financial environment, working closely with leadership, regulators, financial institutions, and strategic partners.

What You'll Own

Product Strategy & Roadmap Define and execute the product strategy across core solutions including custody infrastructure, tokenisation engines, and digital exchange technology. Translate market opportunities and client requirements into clear product roadmaps and deliverables. Prioritise scalable and repeatable product capabilities over bespoke implementations. Monitor developments in digital assets, tokenisation, and capital markets infrastructure to inform product direction.

Technology Leadership Lead the architecture and development of institutional infrastructure across blockchain and traditional systems. Ensure the technology stack meets enterprise standards for security, resilience, scalability, and regulatory compliance. Establish strong engineering practices including code quality, testing frameworks, and deployment processes. Guide architectural decisions across distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and integrations with financial market infrastructure.

Delivery & Execution Drive disciplined product delivery across multiple product initiatives and client engagements. Coordinate closely with engineering, client solutions, and operations teams. Manage development timelines, technical dependencies, and resource allocation.

Client & Market Engagement Work closely with financial institutions, exchanges, and strategic partners to understand evolving market requirements. Support business development by translating technical capabilities into clear product propositions. Participate in discussions with regulators and industry participants regarding digital market infrastructure.

Team Leadership Build and lead a high-performing product and engineering organisation. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Mentor product managers and engineering leads, developing future leaders within the organisation.

Technology & Innovation Leverage modern development practices and automation tools to accelerate engineering productivity. Explore practical applications of AI and data analytics to enhance product development, operational monitoring, and internal workflows. Evaluate emerging technologies relevant to digital market infrastructure while ensuring responsible deployment within a regulated environment.

What We're Looking For

Experience

1. 10 to 15+ years of experience in financial technology, capital markets infrastructure, or exchange technology
2. Experience leading product and engineering teams in an institutional or regulated environment
3. Strong understanding of capital markets workflows including trading systems, exchanges, post-trade processes, or custody infrastructure
4. Exposure to digital assets, tokenisation, or blockchain-based financial systems is advantageous
5. Experience delivering enterprise platforms for financial institutions

Skills

1. Ability to bridge business strategy, product design, and technical implementation
2. Strong understanding of modern software architecture and distributed systems
3. Experience managing complex stakeholder environments including regulators and institutional clients
4. Proven track record of delivering scalable financial technology platforms
