Role Summary

The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of our organization, ensuring sound financial management and contributing to the company's strategic growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, a deep understanding of the crypto industry, and a proven track record of managing financial operations in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This is a remote position with occasional travel requirement.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to support the company's growth objectives
• Manage and oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
• Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
• Prepare and present financial reports to executive leadership and stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements
• Manage cash flow and working capital, optimizing liquidity and maximizing returns
• Navigate the complexities of crypto accounting, including handling digital assets, tokens, and transactions.
• Stay updated on industry trends and compliance requirements related to crypto finance.
• Conduct financial risk assessments and develop risk mitigation strategies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives and investment decisions
• Lead and develop the finance team, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master's degree or CPA preferred)
• 5+ years of experience in finance, with a focus on financial management and analysis
• Strong understanding of the crypto ecosystem, including knowledge of digital assets, decentralized finance (DeFi), and blockchain technology
• Proven track record of managing financial operations and driving financial performance
• Solid knowledge of financial reporting standards, regulations, and compliance requirements
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders
• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools
• Leadership abilities, with experience in managing and developing a finance team
• Experience in fundraising, venture capital, or investment banking in the crypto or blockchain industry is a plus
