Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Corporate Development & Strategy Senior Associate to join our Corporate Development & Strategic Partnerships team. This is a high-impact role that will support the company’s most critical growth initiatives, including M&A, global partnerships, and strategic initiatives. You’ll work cross-functionally with product, finance, legal, go-market-teams and leadership, influencing key strategic decisions that will accelerate Fireblocks’ impact in the fast-evolving digital assets sector. This role will work with team leads across a wide variety of traditional finance, payments and DeFi focused initiatives. 

What You’ll Do

  1. Strategic Transactions (M&A, Investments, Strategic Partnerships)
  2. Support the full deal lifecycle: sourcing, evaluation, financial modeling, due diligence, and negotiation support.
  3. Develop market maps and maintain target lists / pipeline
  4. Corporate Strategy:
  5. Conduct comprehensive market analyses to identify themes and trends that advance Fireblocks’ strategic objectives
  6. Prepare executive-level business cases, investment memos, and presentations that recommend new ventures / strategic initiatives.
  7. Cross-functional Collaboration:
  8. Partner with product teams on build / buy / partner analyses 
  9. Partner with Legal, Finance, Sales, Operations, and GTM to launch and implement successful strategic partnerships

What You'll Bring

  1. 5+ years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, management consulting, private equity, or venture capital.
  2. Strong financial modeling skills with demonstrated transaction experience.
  3. Track record of influencing and communicating effectively with senior leadership, external clients, as well as cross-functional stakeholders.
  4. Thrives in fast-paced, high-ambiguity environments, demonstrating initiative and adaptability with minimal guidance.
  5. Collaborative, strategic, and low-ego mindset, driven by intellectual curiosity and willing to tackle projects of any size or scope.
  6. Strong enthusiasm for fintech, blockchain, and advancing the digital asset industry forward.

It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and each compensation decision is dependent on each individual case. A reasonable base salary range estimate for this position is $120,000 to $170,000. The base salary is one component of the total compensation package, which for some roles may include a target bonus, a very competitive equity grant, and very generous benefits.
