Summary

We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Bangalore, India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in executing processes for payroll processing, onboarding, offboarding, employee relations and other statutory HR compliances. This role will ensure compliance with Singapore, India and Hong Kong labor laws, and drive employee engagement.

Roles and responsibilities

Location: Bangalore (in-office)

Payroll & Compensation:

  1. Work with the finance team to process payroll accurately and ensure compliance with India, Hong Kong and Singapore labor laws (for respective teams).
  2. Handle leave management process using company HRMS in line with the company policies. 
  3. Coordinate with finance for attendance and other payroll-related matters.

HR Policies & Compliance:

  1. Regularly review, implement and maintain HR policies to ensure they align with respective country’s labor laws
  2. Maintain employee records using HRMS software
  3. Assist in HR audits and compliance reporting

Employee onboarding and offboarding:

  1. Manage smooth onboarding and offboarding process for employees, following the company’s process and guidelines. 
  2. Ensure proper documentation is completed for the processes.

Performance Management:

  1. Implement and oversee performance appraisal processes in line with company’s policy.
  2. Work with managers to set employee KPIs.

Employee Relations & Engagement:

  1. Address employee grievances and disciplinary issues professionally.
  2. Promote a positive workplace culture and drive engagement initiatives.

Requirements

  1. Masters degree in HR or related field
  2. 4+ years as a HR generalist
  3. Experience in HR operations across payroll, employee relations, HR policies and compliance
  4. Experience with using ATS, HRMS and other related softwares
  5. High result orientation, hands-on with high productivity & an eye for detail
  6. Willingness to hustle get their hands dirty, and comfort with ambiguity
  7. Should be able to work with multiple internal and external stakeholders
  8. Has the ability to break down a problem into smaller chunks and the ability to balance between the big picture and tactical activities
