Summary
We are seeking a Senior Video Producer / Director to lead and elevate Chainlink Labs' video strategy, ensuring that every piece of content aligns with our brand’s vision, storytelling excellence, and high production standards. This role will drive the creative and operational direction of our video initiatives, working across marketing, product, and events to craft impactful narratives that reach developers, enterprises, finance, government, and the broader blockchain community.
The ideal candidate is a visionary storyteller with a deep understanding of high-end video production, content strategy, and audience engagement. They will take full ownership of video execution—ensuring that every project, from concept to delivery, meets a world-class standard of quality, detail, and effectiveness.
Your Impact
- Define and own the Chainlink Lab’s strategic video vision—what we say, how we say it, and how it evolves across channels and audiences
- Concept and script high-priority videos that support brand, product, and executive communications (e.g., brand campaigns, product launches, investor-facing materials)
- Partner closely with our internal and external teams to hand off execution—ensuring ideas are brought to life with clarity and efficiency
- Lead the creative direction and quality oversight of external agencies, contractors, and internal contributors
- Serve as the creative quality gatekeeper across all video outputs, from concept through final edit
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (Brand, Content, Comms, Product Marketing) to develop a unified video strategy
- Regularly pitch and prototype new video formats, distribution ideas, and campaign concepts to expand Chainlink’s reach and impact
- Support live and recorded event programming as a creative advisor, helping ensure footage captured aligns with narrative and brand goals
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in creative video leadership roles—e.g., producer, director, or head of video—within a technology or brand-driven organization
- Creative Leadership: You think like a director—driving the story, setting the tone, and coaching others toward better creative outcomes
- Strategic Storytelling: You understand how video fits into the broader marketing and brand strategy, and always ladder back up to the “why"
- Collaborative Partnering: You elevate others, guiding and supporting editors, producers, and creative peers with clarity and respect
- High Standards: You have strong taste, a sharp eye, and a deep sense of ownership over what leaves the building
- A portfolio of polished, high-impact video content across a range of styles (explainer, cinematic, scripted, documentary)
- Experience scripting and directing videos that serve both brand-building and commercial outcomes
- Deep familiarity with directing live action and/or animated content, including managing external vendors and internal stakeholders
- Ability to translate brand and campaign goals into clear video briefs, storyboards, and scripts
- Deep understanding of the creative production lifecycle, with fluency in key tools and terminology
Preferred Requirements
- Strong creative vision, with an eye for cinematic storytelling, motion graphics, and innovative video formats
- Experience with live streaming and event video production, including on-location shoots at conferences and industry events
- Hands-on experience with high-end camera and sound equipment, with an understanding of on-set best practices
- Ability to travel occasionally for major productions and industry events
- Experience in the blockchain, Web3, or fintech industry, with a passion for shaping the future of decentralized technology
