Summary

We are seeking a seasoned, mission driven, Senior Protective Intelligence Analyst to join the Chainalysis Global Safety and Security Team. This critical role is responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating threats to executives, personnel, products, reputation and operations. The ideal candidate is a proven intelligence professional with strong analytical and business acumen, exceptional judgement, and deep domain knowledge across the open source intelligence and physical security landscapes. This role will work cross functionally with stakeholders across the entirety of the organization to deliver strategic insights and actionable intelligence in real time; informing protective operations and driving risk based decision making across a complex global threat environment.

This position will be based in our NYC office and will require 3 days in office per week, as well as regular travel to our other sites and corporate events.

In this role you'll:

1. Be using OSINT tools with a focus on AI driven tools to monitor the deep dark web, dark web, social media, and other OSINT indicators as relevant; identify, monitor, assess, and escalate physical and reputational threats posed by individuals, groups, geo-political developments or other emerging threats.
2. Produce timely, accurate, and actionable intelligence reports such as risk assessments, situation reports, and travel advisories.
3. Support insider risk detection and early warning efforts through OSINT analysis, research, and legal predicated investigative actions.
4. Build and maintain threat intelligence dashboards and reports for leadership visibility and decision support.
5. Travel as required in support of corporate events, executive travel, or other related security matters

We're looking for candidates who have:

1. An understanding of operational tempo, risk/threat triage, business continuity and crisis response frameworks and demonstrates the ability to take action as part of a team or individually.
2. Maintained a strong understanding of threat actor tactics, techniques, and procedures relevant to high profile individuals and groups.
3. Translated strategic intelligence into tactical and operational actions in real time.
4. Enhanced legal and regulatory readiness by documenting intelligence and responses in line with internal policies and privacy standards.
5. Experience with supporting the operation and providing oversight of an organization’s global access control and CCTV systems. Ensuring the systems are compliant with policy and configured to deliver a proactive and intelligence driven security posture.
