Ripple is growing rapidly, and we are looking for a hands-on Senior Manager, Software Engineering to help build the next generation of custody solutions that enable banks to instantly settle. Ripples distributed financial technology outperforms todays banking infrastructure by minimizing costs, increasing processing speeds, and delivering end-to-end insight into fees, timing, and delivery.

WHAT YOULL DO:

  • Engineering leaders at Ripple think strategically while balancing both short and long-term goals
  • Build and lead a versatile engineering team by motivating and leading by example, creating a culture on continuous innovation, improvement, and diversity of thought
  • Deliver outstanding results for our customers and are a role model for other engineers
  • Bias towards action and quick decision-making while considering all viewpoints
  • Create a shared vision building and maintaining strong partnerships with Product Management, Ops, Security, Research,
  • Customer Success, and Business development teams
  • Responsible for entire development lifecycle, owning and delivering on your roadmap

WHAT YOULL BRING:

  • 10+ years of hands-on software development experience in at least one of the following technologies: Scala, Java, or another JVM based technologies
  • Experience leading Engineering teams of 10+ developers
  • Maintained hands-on development skills in Scala or Java technologies
  • Interest in participating in coding and code-reviews for a portion of your time
  • Experience building highly-scalable APIs, backend platforms, distributed systems, data access layers, etc.
  • Ideally blockchain experience at the protocol level
  • Successes working with Talent and building impactful teams
  • Academic studies in Computer Science or similar
