Summary

Your role:

1. Prepare and revise corporate documents, commercial agreements, including but not limited to share and asset purchase agreements, investment and shareholders’ agreements, JV agreements, service-level agreements, general terms and conditions, company policies, procedures, plans, programs and other types of legal instruments.
2. Survey the licensing and/or registration requirements applicable to Nexo’s business activity in multiple jurisdictions.
3. Handle employment and other related issues.
4. Address any general or ad-hoc legal queries from members of Nexo's team.
5. Supervise junior legal counsels, if required.
6. Work closely with and report to the Head of Legal & Regulatory Compliance, to better assess applicable requirements and to ensure that Nexo’s business activity is carried out in full compliance therewith.
7. Work in close cooperation and actively communicate with regional legal counsels and regulators.

What makes you stand out:

1. Master’s degree in law.
2. Strong academic record.
3. Minimum relevant professional experience in a corporate environment of more than 7 years, in particular in the field of corporate, commercial, employment law, as well as compliance, financial and banking services. Any experience in cryptocurrencies and blockchain is a strong advantage.
4. Experience in supervising junior team members.
5. Proficiency in English.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
7. Ability to comprehend how new regulations will impact Nexo’s products and expansion plans.
8. Ability to assess and mitigate regulatory risks.
9. Ability to solve complex problems and apply interdisciplinary thinking.
10. Advanced multi-tasking skills.
