The Role 💻

prePO is looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to architect, develop, test, and deploy front-end code for novel DeFi applications.

Candidates should have excellent React proficiency, strong technical leadership, a consistent track record of solving complex engineering problems, and a deep passion for DeFi, crypto and investing.

Our Frontend Tech Stack:

1. Core: React, TypeScript, Next.js
2. Styling: Tailwind CSS, Radix, shadcn
3. Blockchain: Wagmi, Privy
4. Tests: Playwright, Vitest w/ React Testing Library
5. CI/CD: Vercel, GitHub Actions
6. Tooling: Cursor

Skills in DevOps and UI/UX design are a plus.

The Ideal Candidate 🏅

Our ideal candidate will:

1. have 5+ years experience as a frontend engineer in engineering-heavy organizations
2. write clean, re-usable, reliable and performant React code
3. have excellent 'UI sense', being able to create beautiful, consistent UI/UX from high-level wireframes
4. synchronize smart contract and subgraph data with client-side state
5. create functions that write to the blockchain by calling smart contract methods
6. extend upon our standard patterns for implementing frontend Web3 functionality
7. contribute to high-level decisions about prePO’s front-end architecture
8. research new technologies to adopt to improve our product or codebase
9. collaborate with product owners, designers, and other developers
10. work at an extremely rapid pace with a large amount of ownership and autonomy
