Summary
Priori is searching for a sales leader to join our growing Client Development team. The ideal candidate will come from a sales management background in the legal tech or staffing industry having been an individual contributor before becoming a sales leader and managing and scaling a sales team. This is a** non-quota** carrying role which will report to the Chief Revenue Officer and oversee a team of client development managers.
Your skills:
- An enthusiasm for hiring, onboarding, coaching and managing large sales and commission driven teams
- Ability to set sales quotas and targets and assess and design commission plans
- Provide ongoing training that includes updated best practices and strategy; improved messaging; prospecting methods; and ensure adoption of the latest tools and technologies
- Be a point of contact for any questions that a team member may have
- Facilitate problem solving and collaboration within team
- Provide necessary business information for team members to close deals
- Collaborate with CRO to identify knowledge and skills gaps, developing strategies to address them effectively
- Measure, monitor, and report on the effectiveness of individual sales members.
- Continuously gather feedback from sales teams and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement
- Maintain and develop a culture of accountability and transparency
About you:
- 6+ years sales experience
- Either hold a JD (or foreign equivalent) and have sales experience or have experience selling to legal stakeholders in the Fortune 500 and/or AmLaw 100
- Familiarity with CRMs (required) and marketing automation software such as Salesforce and Salesloft
- Experience managing a data-driven sales funnel and creating effective metrics to measure growth
- Experience structuring and building a sales team or management experience with interest in learning best practices to build a sales team
- You have a scrappy start-up mentality with an ability to own the sales cycle from start to finish and a no job to small attitude
- You are proactive, with a desire to work hard, learn quickly and operate in a lean startup environment.
- You are independent and capable of producing excellent work-product with minimal oversight.
- You have executive gravitas with an ability to sell to highly sophisticated customers with complex needs.
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- You have an interest in technology and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
