Summary
As an OTC Trader, you will be responsible for supporting the firm’s global trading activities, pricing, execution, and risk management, across a range of options and spot crypto products. You’ll be working in a fast-paced, quantitative environment alongside experienced traders and engineers, gaining exposure to both traditional options theory and the unique dynamics of digital asset markets.
This is a junior-level position, ideal for someone with a strong foundation in options or derivatives trading who is eager to apply those skills to a new and rapidly evolving asset class. The role can be based in London, Zug, or the United States, depending on your preference and working eligibility.
Responsibilities
- Price and execute trades in OTC and options markets, managing client inquiries and market exposure in real time.
- Support senior traders with portfolio monitoring, trade reconciliation, and position management.
- Contribute to risk management processes, ensuring trades are executed within defined parameters.
- Analyze market data, volatility surfaces, and option Greeks to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with quant and engineering teams to improve trading systems and analytics tools.
- Stay informed about macro and digital asset market developments that impact trading strategies.
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative or finance-related field (e.g., Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Economics, Finance).
- Experience in an options or derivatives trading environment — including internship or analyst-level experience at a trading desk.
- Strong understanding of options theory, including Greeks, volatility, and risk-reward trade-offs.
- Confident working with data e.g., Excel, Python, or other analytical tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy under time pressure.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in financial innovation.
