Job Description

Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced LLM (Large Language Model) Model Resource to join our team. As an LLM Model Resource, you will be responsible for developing, fine-tuning, and deploying large language models to address various natural language processing (NLP) tasks and challenges. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning, deep learning, and NLP, with hands-on experience in building and optimizing LLMs for real-world applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research, develop, and fine-tune large language models (e.g., GPT, BERT, T5) to solve complex NLP tasks, such as text generation, sentiment analysis, question answering, and more.
  • Experiment with different model architectures, hyper parameters, and training techniques to optimize model performance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable solutions using LLMs.
  • Preprocess and curate large datasets for training and evaluation, ensuring data quality, integrity, and relevance to the task at hand.
  • Train, validate, and evaluate LLMs on benchmark datasets and real-world data, using appropriate metrics and evaluation techniques.
  • Deploy LLMs in production environments, integrating them into existing systems and applications, and ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Monitor and analyze model performance and behavior in production, identifying and addressing any issues or anomalies as they arise.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in NLP and LLM research, and incorporate new techniques and technologies into our models and workflows.
  • Mentor junior team members, share best practices, and contribute to the overall knowledge sharing and learning culture within the organization.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
  • Hands-on experience with large language models, such as GPT, BERT, T5, etc., and their associated libraries and frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of machine learning concepts, algorithms, and methodologies, particularly in the context of NLP.
  • Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and distributed computing environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Passion for learning and staying updated with emerging trends and technologies in machine learning and NLP.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience deploying and maintaining large language models in production environments.
  • Knowledge of transformer architectures and attention mechanisms.
  • Experience with model fine-tuning, transfer learning, and domain adaptation techniques.
  • Contributions to open-source projects or participation in NLP-related competitions/hackathons.
