Summary

Your role:

1. Take operational management of the relevant licensing activities, ensuring that resources are used effectively to address priority issues and achieve performance and quality standards targets.
2. Implement licensing strategies which align with legislative requirements, best practices, and industry standards.
3. Research and/or supervise the research on the licensing and/or registration requirements applicable to Nexo’s business activity in multiple jurisdictions.
4. Prepare and/or supervise the preparation of all the necessary documents in the course of licensing and/or registration procedures initiated by Nexo in multiple jurisdictions.
5. Handle license and/or registration maintenance, including in regular examinations.
6. Supervise junior/regular team members.
7. Work closely with and report to the Chief Legal & Regulatory Officer, to better assess applicable requirements and to ensure that Nexo’s business activity is carried out in full compliance therewith.
8. Work in close cooperation and actively communicate with regional legal counsels and regulators.

1. Master’s degree in law.
2. Strong academic record.
3. Minimum relevant professional experience in a corporate environment of more than 10 years, in particular in the field of regulatory compliance, credit, payment institution, and banking licensing. Any experience in cryptocurrencies and blockchain is a strong advantage.
4. People management experience.
5. Experience in supervising junior/regular team members.
6. Proficiency in English.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
8. Ability to comprehend how new regulations will impact Nexo’s products and expansion plans.
9. Ability to assess and mitigate regulatory risks.
