Summary

We are currently looking for a Head of Trading. In the role, you will work closely with internal stakeholders, and the starting date is as soon as possible at our office on the 24th floor of the Prime Tower in Zurich

Responsibilities

1. Lead and manage the trading desk, including a team of traders, ensuring flawless execution of daily client trading
2. Represent the trading desk and the company to key clients, partners, and stakeholders at the highest level
3. Set the strategic direction of the trading function, aligning with overall business goals and driving innovation in trading activities
4. Oversee all trading operations, including risk management, liquidity provision, and market-making, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and profitability
5. Drive the continuous development and optimization of trading platforms, tools, and processes in collaboration with Technology and Product teams
6. Monitor, anticipate, and manage client needs across multiple accounts, ensuring high-quality service delivery and strong client satisfaction
7. Collaborate with senior management, Compliance, Business Development, and Legal to support both run-the-bank and change-the-bank initiatives
8. Maintain expert knowledge of global derivatives and digital asset markets, ensuring the team is positioned at the forefront of new opportunities and market developments
9. Oversee operational and strategic account management, including cash, collateral, and risk optimization
10. Mentor, develop, and performance-manage traders, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture

Requirements

1. Proven experience in electronic trading and OTC flow trading within regulated financial markets (mandatory)
2. OTC derivatives trading experience across FX, digital assets or related products (strong advantage)
3. Lead and manage the trading desk, including a team of traders, ensuring reliable and consistent execution of client trading activity
4. Represent the trading function and the firm with key institutional clients, partners and stakeholders
5. Define and execute the strategic direction of the trading function in alignment with overall business objectives
6. Oversee trading operations including risk management, liquidity provision and market-making, ensuring efficiency and regulatory compliance
7. Drive the ongoing development and optimisation of trading platforms, pricing, execution and processes in close collaboration with Technology and Product
8. Monitor and manage client trading activity across multiple accounts, ensuring high service quality and operational robustness
9. Work closely with senior management, Compliance, Legal and Business Development on both run-the-bank and change-the-bank initiatives
10. Maintain strong market knowledge across derivatives and digital asset markets to support informed decision-making
11. Oversee operational and strategic account management, including cash, collateral and risk optimisation
12. Develop and mentor traders, supporting performance management and a disciplined, collaborative trading culture
