Summary

The Algorand Foundation is looking for a creative, highly organized, and adaptable Graphic Designer & Video Specialist to join our dynamic creative team. As part of a fast-paced blockchain startup, the ideal candidate will thrive in a high-energy environment, balancing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail. You will contribute to the Algorand Foundation’s brand by creating impactful and authentic visual assets from static designs to videos and animations for digital content, social media, paid ads, emails, technical reports, infographics, presentations, events, and campaigns.

In this role, you’ll be a key player in the creation and execution of brand assets across a variety of platforms, with the flexibility to work on graphic design, video editing, and motion graphics depending on project needs. While you'll have the opportunity to showcase your creativity, you'll also be expected to demonstrate a deep understanding of the Algorand brand guidelines, strong teamwork skills, and effective communication. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all creative output whether static or motion-based is aligned with the Foundation’s mission and identity. 

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Create high-quality, creative visual and multimedia assets for digital content, social media, paid ads, emails, technical reports, infographics, presentations, events, and campaigns — ensuring consistency and quality across all platforms.
  2. Design engaging static graphics and produce/edit videos, animations, and motion graphics that bring concepts to life and enhance brand storytelling.
  3. Be a key contributor to creative problem-solving, translating complex concepts and data into visually engaging designs and dynamic video content.
  4. Maintain and manage an organized library of design, video, and animation assets, along with brand materials, for internal teams and external partners.
  5. Help produce both graphic and video elements for special campaigns, and assist in developing integrated visual strategies that support organizational goals.
  6. Work within established brand guidelines while tailoring static and motion content for specific projects, audiences, and needs — maintaining creative input to evolve and innovate assets over time.
  7. Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to produce designs, videos, and animations that meet strategic goals and align with brand standards.
  8. Ensure all creative deliverables (graphic and video) are met on time, with high accuracy and attention to detail, in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  1. Creative problem-solver with strong ability to develop appealing, innovative solutions across both static and motion design.
  2. Detail-oriented, with a focus on accuracy, quality, and visual storytelling in both graphic and video outputs.
  3. Experience designing social media posts, email banners, paid ads,
  4. producing/editing video content and motion graphics.
  5. Strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple design and video projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  6. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners, while being open to and able to apply constructive feedback.
  7. Advanced skills in Figma, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Google Slides/PowerPoint.
  8. A strong portfolio showcasing a variety of creative work — including both static and motion/video projects — ideally in a web3, fintech, tech, or startup environment.

GOOD TO HAVE

  1. Web3 experience.
  2. Experience in Canva.
  3. Experience with illustration and 3D animation.
  4. Solid understanding of print production processes.
  5. 3–5 years of experience in a hybrid Graphic & Motion Designer / Video Editor role or similar.
