Summary

We are seeking a highly driven Expansion Manager to expand Tether’s growth and presence in Argentina through adoption of its solutions, products and services. The Expansion Manager will play a pivotal role in identifying and executing new business opportunities, establishing strategic partnerships, and navigating regulatory landscapes. This role requires close collaboration with internal teams to develop and implement go-to-market strategies in Argentina and across the region.

The ideal candidate is a strategic and entrepreneurial leader with a proven track record in business development, market expansion, and partnership management.

You have:

  1. A degree in Business, Management, or Finance (MBA preferred).
  2. Strong analytical skills and experience in setting/monitoring KPIs.
  3. proactive, independent, and well-organized approach to work.
  4. The ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
  5. A history of successfully building and managing strategic partnerships.

Responsibilities:

Business Development & Partnerships

  1. Identify, engage, and secure new business opportunities in Argentina and the region.
  2. Build strong relationships with partners, customers, and stakeholders.
  3. Develop strategic partnerships with financial institutions, fintech firms, payment providers, and government entities.

Market Strategy & Execution

  1. Design and implement go-to-market strategies to expand Tether’s products and services.
  2. Track and analyze KPIs to assess and optimize market strategies.

Market Research & Competitive Analysis

  1. Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, threats, and growth opportunities.
  2. Analyze USDt and fiat flows for data-driven decision-making.
  3. Monitor regulatory changes and assess their business impact.

Stakeholder & Government Engagement

  1. Manage relationships with regulators, government agencies, and industry bodies.
  2. Represent the company at key meetings and industry events.

Marketing & Community Engagement

  1. Support and participate in fintech events, conferences, and meetups to enhance brand visibility.

Job requirements

  1. Deep knowledge of the Argentinian market and regulations in blockchain, fintech, remittances, and payments.
  2. 5-7 years work experience in cross-border payments, remittances, cryptocurrency or payment infrastructures.
  3. Fluent in English and Spanish, with a Business, Management, or Finance degree (MBA preferred).
  4. Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with partners, regulators, and stakeholders.
  5. Proven experience in partnerships, KPI monitoring, and business growth.
  6. Analytical, strategic, and results-driven with problem-solving skills.
  7. Entrepreneurial background and project management expertise is a plus.
  8. Comfortable in fast-paced, evolving environments with international travel readiness.
