Summary
As an Engineering Manager at Chainlink Labs, you will be responsible for growing engineering teams building critical products and platforms that power Chainlink’s decentralized ecosystem. We are looking for deep experience in people leadership, product-minded execution, and operational excellence - ensuring teams deliver reliable, high-impact solutions that advance Chainlink’s mission in Web3.
Your Impact
- Lead engineering teams responsible for core Chainlink products and services used across the Web3 ecosystem.
- Drive high reliability, scalability, and quality across production systems that operate under demanding conditions.
- Partner closely with Product and cross-functional stakeholders to shape roadmaps, influence strong product decisions, and deliver meaningful user outcomes.
- Balance short-term execution with long-term platform evolution, ensuring teams can move fast without compromising stability.
- Coach, develop, and retain engineers, supporting career growth and progression while fostering a healthy, engaged team culture.
Required Skills
- Exposure to taking products or platforms from early concept through production adoption in a web3 environment.
- Strong product sense, with the ability to connect engineering decisions to user needs and business impact.
- Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously and lead teams through ambiguity and complexity.
- Clear motivation and capability to support, grow, and develop engineers at multiple career stages.
- Sufficient technical depth to guide architectural discussions, assess trade-offs, and unblock teams across a range of systems.
- Proven ability to plan, prioritize, and execute against a single, high-impact backlog while managing competing stakeholder demands.
Preferred Skills
- Experience communicating effectively with senior and executive stakeholders.
- Track record of managing and developing senior or staff-level engineers.
- Experience leading teams in high-pressure or operationally intensive environments.
- Background spanning both larger, mature organizations and smaller or fast-scaling teams.
