Summary

BitGo is currently looking to expand our North America Sales team at the Director level. This role will be US-based and report directly to the Head of Platform Sales. This is a great opportunity for experienced business development professionals with digital asset technology and/or fintech sales experience. This is an individual contributor role focused on selling to BitGos API-first suite of products to builders, ranging from crypto native companies (exchanges, miners, payments fintechs, retail platforms) to Fortune 500 corporations (brands, banks, corporate treasuries). We're ideally looking for candidates in the NYC area but are also open to other US-based applicants. 

Responsibilities

  • Increase revenues across all of BitGos solutions: secure wallets, qualified custody, and prime.
  • Acquire and drive continued client relationships.
  • Represent BitGo products and services externally in client meetings and at industry events.
  • Understand regional market microstructure and evolving regional competitor landscape.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of quota-carrying sales experience and target achievement in crypto, fintech and/or capital markets technology. 
  • Understanding of the complexities and challenges of financial markets and the crypto ecosystem including knowledge of blockchains, wallets, custody, trading and staking.
  • Experience managing or leading outbound sales processes, including generating leads, building relationships, negotiating commercials, creating proposals and closing deals.
  • Proficient with forecasting, reporting and the use of CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) and other sales enablement tools.
  • Demonstrable success with solutions selling, deal structuring, contracts and negotiations.

Equity, a sales performance bonus and the benefits outlined below are also a part of this role's package.
