Summary

About the Role:

As the Content Director for Institutional Events, you'll spearhead the creation and curation of compelling agendas for Blockworks cornerstone event, the Digital Asset Summit, along with other related events and webinars. Working closely with the events, content, and leadership teams, you will craft the narratives that drive the momentum forward in this quickly evolving space, developing panels, determining overarching themes to cover, and setting the schedule for these events. You will own the relationships with our sponsors and speakers, from recruiting and booking them to ensuring they are fully informed and prepared for discussions. This is an incredible opportunity for someone passionate about this institutional landscape to lean into existing relationships and foster new ties with the upper echelon of the industry.

What Youll Do:

Events:

  • Craft agendas for the Digital Asset Summit (DAS) and Permissionless Institutional Track

  • Collaborate with leadership to establish overarching themes and determine event topics and session titles

  • Recruit and book speakers

  • Set and manage event schedules

  • Conduct calls with sponsors to propose panelist placements

  • Cultivate and manage relationships with sponsors and speakers

  • Coordinate and lead preparatory calls and follow-up emails

  • Ensure speakers have on-site logistics in place through coordination via invites and emails

  • Work with the events team and external production company to oversee speakers during events and ensure smooth logistics

Webinars:

  • Develop content for and moderate webinars

  • Gather sponsor inputs and create webinar topics and descriptions

  • Compile potential speaker lists for sponsor consideration

  • Extend invitations to relevant guests

  • Coordinate and lead preparatory calls and follow-up emails

What Were Looking for:

  • 3+ year of content programming experience in finance, investments and/or crypto

  • Experience working in client/customer facing roles

  • Deep understanding of both crypto and traditional financial markets and infrastructure

  • Enthusiasm, excitement, and passion for the convergence of macroeconomics and crypto

  • Strong planning and organizational skills

  • Demonstrated ability as a strong relationship builder and networker ideally you have relationships with major players in the TradFi and crypto spaces

  • A voracious consumer of content including newsletters, podcasts, interviews, and event videos

  • A creative thinker who can bring out of the box ideas to the table

Compensation

  • $90K  to  $130K
