Summary

We're looking for a Compensation Program Manager to manage and optimize intermediate to complex compensation programs. You will leverage your strong project execution skills and establish yourself as a subject matter expert in the delivery and maintenance of our compensation programs. You will help improve compensation processes, manage cross-functional partnerships, and ensure consistent and effective execution of Block's compensation strategy.

You Will

  1. Manage intermediate to complex compensation programs, with a focus on detail, compliance, and improvement.
  2. Analyze data and industry trends to inform decisions and drive program enhancements.
  3. Exercise autonomy in managing compensation programs, seeking strategic direction where needed.
  4. Oversee small project teams as applicable, providing guidance and support.
  5. Take ownership of assigned compensation programs, becoming the go-to subject matter expert (SME).
  6. Build relationships with teams to establish a strong internal network.
  7. Demonstrate proficiency in Compensation program design, project management, and operational standards.

You Have

  1. 5+ years of experience as a compensation analyst, consultant, or other similar role
  2. Experience managing compensation programs from design to implementation.
  3. Exceptional knowledge of Google Sheets.
  4. Experience working collaboratively with teams such as People, Finance, and Legal.
  5. Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
  6. Knowledge of relevant compensation regulations and compliance standards.

Block takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. U.S. locations are categorized into one of four zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.

$125,800—$188,600 USD

$119,000—$178,400 USD

$108,200—$162,200 USD
