Summary

We are looking for a creative, commercially focused and highly motivated individual to help drive our business development strategy at Fireblocks. The Business Development Manager in Strategic Partnerships is a high-impact role that sits at the forefront of innovation in the digital asset market. You will focus primarily on payments and corporate clients, globally. You’ll get to work with the most talented people at Fireblocks across the product, legal, finance, marketing and sales functions, and engage directly with the most innovative customers and partners across the Fireblocks Network. You’ll get to immerse yourself in how clients use Fireblocks and our partner ecosystem today, enabling you to identify new opportunities and develop solutions to unlock new areas of growth for the business.

What You’ll Do

  1. Bring your commercial and innovative mindset to identify and grow new revenue streams. 
  2. Create solutions that build on the core Fireblocks offering and our partner ecosystem to deliver a differentiated offering for our clients.
  3. Work with product teams to develop the solution and sales teams to test market demand.
  4. Identify, structure and implement new partnerships to provide a complete solution for our clients.
  5. Work with the legal, finance, and operations functions to build out a robust solution.
  6. Work with marketing and sales teams globally to devise and deliver the GTM strategy.
  7. Be responsible for setting, tracking and meeting a revenue target.

Additionally,

  1. Focus primarily on payments and corporate/enterprise clients globally.
  2. Represent Fireblocks externally as a subject matter expert at events/webinars.
  3. Develop and maintain a strong network across the industry to help identify new opportunities.
  4. Support corporate development themes with market insights.

What You'll Bring

  1. 5+ years of experience in crypto, payments, corporate treasury, venture capital, or digital assets more broadly.
  2. Deep enthusiasm for fintech, blockchain, and advancing the digital asset industry forward.
  3. Strong network in the digital asset industry and track record of building and leveraging relationships to drive revenue opportunities.
  4. Strong financial background and proven commercial experience, including building a compelling business case with revenue/profit models. 
  5. History of influencing and communicating effectively with senior executives, internally and externally, as well as working collaboratively with stakeholders across the organisation.
  6. Creative approach to problem solving and an entrepreneurial approach to identifying business opportunities.
  7. Ability to learn quickly and work in fast-paced, high-ambiguity environments, demonstrating initiative and adaptability with limited guidance.
  8. Collaborative, strategic, and low-ego mindset, driven by intellectual curiosity and a desire to challenge the status quo.
