Summary

We have created the Factors of Growth & Impact to help Villagers better measure impact and articulate coaching, feedback, and the rich and rewarding learning that happens while exploring, developing, and mastering the capabilities and contributions within and outside of the Business Analyst, FIG role:

Technical Skills:

  1. Direct work experience in traditional financial services businesses, including banking, asset management, capital markets, or wealth management.
  2. Working knowledge of the risk, compliance, legal, and regulatory considerations related to the FIG business and target client base.
  3. Strong research, analytical, writing, presentation, and public communication skills.

Complexity and Impact of Work:

  1. Conduct primary research to support strategic initiatives across FIG and within specific business lines or client segments.
  2. Support and manage cross-functional projects, representing FIG with other business lines and departments.
  3. Participate in existing and potential client conversations to develop relationships, promote business growth, and progress client deals.
  4. Collaborate across teams, such as Sales, Marketing, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Operations, and Product to solve problems and define strategy, prioritization, and roadmap execution.
  5. Supports strategy execution and internal FIG operations.

Organizational Knowledge:

  1. Contributes to the prioritization and development of key business initiatives, associated product feature needs, and automation and scalability.
  2. Comfortable in a highly dynamic, growth-oriented environment
  3. Ensures knowledge sharing across FIG.

Communication and Influence:

  1. Contribute to strategic proposals, client-facing presentations, business plans, and execution roadmaps.
  2. Work within and across FIG and cross-functional boundaries to gain consensus, identify and solution issues, and present to the FIG business leads, Department Head, and stakeholders across Anchorage.

You may be a fit for this role if you have:

  1. 4+ years of experience across traditional financial services.
  2. 1 year of experience in an institutional focused crypto business, with direct exposure to trading, settlements and/or custody infrastructure is a bonus.
  3. A track record of managing cross-functional initiatives tied to institutional product and service delivery.
  4. Comfort engaging with institutional client leads and engaging multiple internal stakeholders.
  5. Strong communication and coordination instincts, research, data analysis, and presentation chops.

Although not a requirement, bonus points if:
