About the role:

We are seeking a skilled Blockchain Infrastructure Engineer to design, deploy, manage, monitor, and maintain validator nodes for multiple blockchain network (with a strong focus on Ethereum). This role combines Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), DevOps, and Platform Engineering, demanding expertise across these domains to build and maintain secure, scalable, and highly efficient infrastructure.

As a Blockchain SME, you will work closely with internal teams (business, development, and modelling) as well as external stakeholders (clients and the blockchain community) to ensure Twinstake’s infrastructure operates smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for driving automation, ensuring production-grade stability, and optimizing platform efficiency. Additionally, you will be the go-to person for chain-specific updates, voting summaries, and technical advice.

What you will contribute:

1. Platform & Automation: Build and automate infrastructure for blockchain operations, enhancing efficiency and scalability
2. Validator Nodes: Deploy and manage validator nodes across multiple blockchain networks
3. Performance: Optimize nodes for low latency and high transaction speed
4. Monitoring & Response: Maintain and optimize Grafana-based monitoring and actively participating in on-call schedules to ensure fast incident detection and resolution.
5. Security: Implement security and compliance best practices for blockchain nodes
6. Upgrades & Forks: Manage network upgrades and forks, coordinating with stakeholders
7. Documentation: Maintain clear, updated records and share key updates with teams
8. Collaboration: Serve as a blockchain expert, supporting business, dev, and customer teams
9. Cost: Balance node performance with cost efficiency

What you bring:

1. Deep expertise managing Ethereum nodes (validators, RPC) and in-depth knowledge of Ethereum’s Proof of Stake protocol and ecosystem
2. Proficiency in designing and implementing production-grade infrastructure and platform solutions, using Kubernetes to drive scalability, automation, and operational efficiency.
3. Hands-on experience with infrastructure tools like Terraform, Ansible, and monitoring tools like Grafana
4. Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or bare metal setups for Ethereum infrastructure
5. Strong communication and troubleshooting skills, with a focus on Ethereum-specific challenges
6. Collaborative mindset with a passion for sharing Ethereum expertise
