CoinSwitch breaks down the complexities in Crypto, empowering the everyday Indian to make informed investment decisions on a simple and trusted platform. When we started up, Crypto was a field reserved for specialists. Today, over 18 million users trust CoinSwitch to learn, purchase and invest in Crypto. That makes us Indias largest crypto app.
On CoinSwitch, users can invest in Crypto with a few simple taps, either as a one-time purchase or in regular intervals through an SIP. But simplicity is not a substitute for informed decisions. A CoinSwitch user spends 27 minutes on our appto learn about Crypto and Web3 through our educational content and understand the market sentiments through CRE8, the Crypto Rupee Index.
But we are just getting started. CoinSwitch not only plans to double down on making Crypto accessible to everyone but is on track to become the one-stop wealth-tech destination for every Indian.
About the Role
As the Associate Director of Human Resources at CoinSwitch, you will play a crucial role in shaping our company's growth by managing and developing our most valuable asset - our people. You will lead the HR function and partner closely with senior leadership to design and implement HR strategies, programs, and initiatives that support our organizational objectives. This role requires a deep passion for creating a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
What You Will Do
- Lead, mentor, and develop the HR team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Design and manage HR programs and initiatives that align with the company's strategic goals
- Develop and implement performance evaluation and feedback processes
- Proactively engage in partnering with for tech and product departments, to deeply understand the business goals and challenges of these teams.
- Identify leadership development needs and design tailored programs to enhance the skills and competencies of the leadership team
- Lead the compensation and benefits strategy, ensuring it remains competitive and aligns with industry standards
- Oversee employee engagement and retention programs
- Manage diversity and inclusion initiatives to create a welcoming and equitable workplace
- Ensure compliance with all labor laws and regulations, adapting policies and procedures as needed.
- Develop and communicate HR policies and procedures to employees
- Establish and enforce fair and consistent disciplinary policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align HR strategy with the overall business strategy
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support decision-making
- Contribute to long-term workforce planning and organizational development
What You Should Have
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, with 7+ years in people management and program management roles
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices in India
- Has played a pivotal role in organizational design, ensuring that the structure of the tech and product teams optimally supports their goals
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven ability to lead and develop a high-performing HR team
- Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing HR programs and initiatives
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup environment
