Job Description


As a Community Manager Assistant (Technical), you will play a crucial role in supporting our community management efforts and facilitating seamless interactions among our community members. Your primary focus will be on the technical aspects of community management, utilizing various platforms such as Discord, Zoom, and other relevant tools. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth communication, organizing events, addressing technical queries, and ensuring the tech background on all workshops and live events. 


Technical Support

  • Finding, registering, running, and maintaining all community platforms (Zoom, Discord, YouTube, etc.)
  • Act as the first point of contact for community members technical inquiries on platforms such as Discord and Zoom
  • Troubleshoot technical issues faced by community and team members and provide prompt resolutions

Event Coordination

  • Collaborate with the Community Manager to plan, organize, and execute community events, webinars, and virtual meetups
  • Assist in managing event logistics, including setting up Zoom meetings, creating invites, and managing registrations

Content Management

  • Assist in posting and scheduling content for social media channels and community platforms
  • Share relevant tech-related content, updates, and announcements with the team.

Data Analysis

  • Monitor and analyze community engagement metrics to identify trends and insights for continuous improvement
  • Provide regular reports to the Community Manager on community growth and performance



  1. Proficiency in using and troubleshooting Discord, Zoom, YouTube, Restream (or similar), and other communication platforms
  2. Strong tech-savviness with an ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software and tools
  3. Great written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with community members
  4. Problem-solving and organizational skills to manage multiple community initiatives and events simultaneously
  5. Attention to detail and autonomy
  6. Proactive, creative, and self-motivated individual who can work both independently and as part of a team
  7. Experience in community management or relevant tech support is a plus
