Summary
Account Executives are experienced in both new business and account management, and are market specialists. They establish trust and build strong relationships within their target market. As an Account Executive, you will be the trusted advisor for public sector stakeholders, shaping tailored solutions and showcasing the value of Chainalysis in an approachable, impactful way. Your success will be defined by meeting or exceeding your sales quota, delivering accurate forecasts, and driving significant account growth in UK and Ireland. If you excel at navigating complex sales cycles, crafting strategic account plans, and closing deals with precision, this role is your ideal fit.
In this role, you'll:
- Exceed your quota and substantially increased our foothold in public sector markets within the United Kingdom and Ireland through strategic prospecting and developing your sales pipeline as well as expanding existing accounts.
- Build relationships with customers based on trust and transparency resulting in network referrals that ultimately build Chainalysis’ brand awareness
- Create and execute go-to-market plans that result in predictable and increasing quarterly forecasts
- Build a diverse pipeline of opportunities resulting in consistent and accurate forecasting
- Help us develop compelling product positioning and messaging specific to market trends, competitive drivers, region-specific sales channels, and more
- Have relationships across departments at Chainalysis allowing you to provide expert advice to prospects related to technical concepts, product roadmaps, solutions implementations, training, and craft appropriate customer proposals.
We're looking for candidates who have:
- Demonstrated experience in a previous B2B SaaS sales role, managing the entire sales cycle
- Strong industry knowledge
- Track record in new business development and market creation
- You’re an articulate, enthusiastic, and effective communicator who can convey complex concepts in an approachable and concise way
- You are keen to bring your communication skills to presenting Chainalysis at customer facing and conference presentations
- You’re willing to travel as needed
- Track record of carrying and quota in past positions
Nice to have experience:
- You don’t have to be a blockchain expert, but you’re insatiably curious and willing to learn
- Experience selling into Public Sector (Government, Law Enforcement or Tax Authorities) is a plus
