Summary
ABOUT AVALANCHE INTEROPERABILITY
The Interoperability team develops novel solutions for blockchains to communicate with one another seamlessly and securely. This includes connecting Avalanche to external ecosystems (Ethereum, Bitcoin, etc) via the Avalanche Bridges, and connecting Avalanche L1s via Avalanche Interchain Messaging. Future work includes extending interoperability to new virtual machines, designing and implementing new protocols to connect to external ecosystems in a trust-minimized manner, and exploring new use cases of cross-chain applications. The mission is to make it as easy as possible for chains to connect and exchange data, ultimately making many blockchains feel like one.
