Summary

What You'll Be Doing (i.e., Job Duties) 

1. Partner strategically with Product, Engineering, and UX Research to drive team strategy, product decisions, and roadmap priorities
2. Own end-to-end user journey and all aspects of design execution from vision, ideation, to prototyping, to user testing, to final production
3. Partner closely with our Design Systems team, to create scalable design frameworks and solutions
4. Establish and lead the design function for your product area
5. Provide mentorship and design feedback to other design team members

What We Look For In You (ie. Job Requirements)

1. 10+ years of Product Design experience 
2. Proven track record of successfully leading design function across a product area
3. Ability to own end-to-end design process from initial concept to final implementation
4. Mastery of your craft including strong visual & interaction design skills, prototyping, and UX best practices 
5. Ability to collaborate and partner strategically with UX Research, Product, and Engineering to drive and influence product decisions and strategy
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
7. Low ego and open-minded

Nice to Have:

1. Crypto-forward experience, including familiarity with onchain activity such as interacting with Ethereum addresses, using ENS, and engaging with dApps or blockchain-based services.

Pay Transparency Notice: The target annual salary for this position can range as detailed below. Full time offers from Coinbase also include target bonus + target equity + benefits (including medical, dental, and vision).
