Summary
As an Engineering Manager of the Access Account Foundation backend engineering team, you will lead your team in making Cash App a trusted platform for our customers. Our team's mission is to build a reliable technical foundation and intuitive customer-facing features that ensure authentic customers can consistently access and switch between their accounts, while safeguarding against unauthorized access and inauthentic actors.
Working with our product managers and designers, you'll be engaged in driving the team's vision and roadmap. The products that you build with your team will create significant impact at scale and will fundamentally change how customers manage their money.

You Will
- Partner closely with product, design, engineering, operations and business leads to evolve your team's vision and roadmap by thoroughly understanding your customers' needs
- Build a world-class team by hiring qualified candidates, coaching engineers, and shaping the team to scale with the needs of the business
- Lead and participate in critical technical, design, and product discussions with leaders across the organization
- Foster ownership, inclusiveness, accountability, and urgency in the team
- Hold your teammates—and yourself—to high engineering standards through cultivating pragmatic engineering decision-making, and leveraging your technical expertise to constantly raise the bar
You Have
- 8+ years of software development or equivalent experience
- 2+ years experience growing engineers
- A history of healthy collaboration with product managers, engineers, and other engineering managers on developing roadmaps and executing against them
- Strong self-motivation to learn and grow
- Eagerness to share your own ideas, and openness to those of others
- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
