Join our team to help integrate Kraken’s systems with an ever-expanding universe of cryptocurrencies and blockchains. As a member of this team, your focus is elevating our clients' crypto journey and delivering new and exciting ways to accelerate crypto adoption. Your counterparts will be the hardcore Rust backend engineering teams, the blockchain maxi who make the kernel of the crypto teams and the React enthusiasts who finely craft our beautiful looking UI.

The opportunity

1. Design and implement robust Rust services and libraries
2. Write reusable, testable, and highly efficient code
3. Collaborate on large scale distributed systems architecture
4. Work side by side with hundreds of experienced Rust engineers

Skills you should HODL 

1. 3+ years of experience in software engineering
2. Proficiency in writing network services or asynchronous code in Rust
3. Demonstrated commitment to a security-first mindset when designing systems
4. Capability to autonomously debug issues across the stack, including OS, network, and application layers
5. Familiarity with distributed systems and technologies, including RPC protocols, Kafka, and Event Driven Systems
6. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
