Summary

The Identity Lifecycle team designs and builds scalable solutions to manage customer identity information. We focus on supporting our customers beyond the initial onboarding stage.

Work from anywhere: This role can be performed from any location in Australia and New Zealand

You Will

  1. Design, build and support the core systems used to track usage and manage identity lifecycle in Cash App
  2. Manage the scalability of the Identity Platform to support Cash App's growth
  3. Work closely with product teams as they leverage our services for their products
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional partners in design, product, data, compliance and legal
  5. Be responsible for the availability and performance of a critical system making rapid decisions at scale
  6. Help define and implement our roadmap and identify which problems the team needs to solve

 

You Have

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent practical experience)
  2. 3+ years of relevant industry experience
  3. Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Kotlin, Golang, or similar)
  4. Experience working with APIs and backend systems
  5. Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
  6. Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
  7. Basic familiarity with databases such as MySQL or DynamoDB
  8. Exposure to cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Kubernetes) is a plus
  9. Interest in financial systems and risk management is a plus
