Summary

We are looking for an engineer to join the SRE department at bitFlyer, a leading cryptocurrency exchange in Japan. You will leverage your extensive experience in cloud infrastructure to maintain and enhance the reliability of our large-scale BtoC systems.

Job Responsibility

■Primary Responsibilities ・Design, build, and manage cloud and other infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) ・Automate operations to improve efficiency ・Design and build mechanisms for preventing and early detection of service failures, and respond to incidents ・Promote migrations to new systems ・Spread SRE culture and best practices within the company ・Collaborate with various stakeholders involved in product development

Required Qualifications

■Required Qualifications (Skills/Experience) - Over 3 years of experience in web application development - Comprehensive experience in designing, building, operating, and troubleshooting cloud architectures in public clouds - Knowledge and experience with RDBMS - Practical experience with IaC - Experience in building and operating monitoring platforms - Experience working collaboratively with development teams (products) - Native-level proficiency in Japanese or English

Expected Annual Salary

8,000,000 to 13,000,000 yen - Monthly salary = Annual salary ÷ 12 - Breakdown of monthly salary: -- Fixed overtime pay: Equivalent to 45 hours/month = hourly wage + 25% × 45 hours -- Base salary = Monthly salary – Fixed overtime pay - Additional legal overtime, night, and holiday work exceeding 45 hours/month will be compensated separately - Various allowances (commuting, remote work, etc.) provided separately - Performance-based bonus available in addition

Employment and Work Conditions

1. Employment Type: Full-time (No fixed term)
2. Probation Period: Yes (6 months), with no changes to labor conditions during the probation period
3. Working Hours: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Flextime system with core hours from 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM)
4. Break Time: 60 minutes during working hours
5. Overtime: Available
6. Smoking Prevention Measures: No smoking indoors
