The Growth Content Platform team is dedicated to building and optimizing scalable web applications that power Kraken’s content ecosystem. We focus on enhancing Kraken’s “logged out” web experience while developing robust content management systems and developer tooling that streamline content delivery and internal workflows.

Collaborating closely with Engineering, Marketing, and Product teams, we create flexible, high-performing platforms that enable seamless content distribution and engagement. By refining our architecture and improving CMS accessibility for internal stakeholders, we ensure a dynamic, efficient, and scalable content experience. Through technical innovation and continuous optimization, we empower Kraken’s web presence to drive meaningful user interactions and business growth.

The opportunity

1. Develop and maintain high-quality web applications with a focus on content management systems, scalable architecture and developer tooling
2. Collaborate with the Marketing, Content, and Design teams to build self-serve content management tooling
3. Contribute to the architecture and design of our web applications, ensuring scalability and performance optimization
4. Collaborate with engineers within the company to develop and iterate on internal SDKs
5. Leverage AI and other innovative solutions to speed up content authoring and improve overall velocity
6. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in web development
7. Write and maintain comprehensive unit tests and documentation
8. Mentor junior developers and engage in code reviews to uphold high standards of code quality

Skills you should HODL

1. 5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on web applications
2. Deep understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript and proficiency with React
3. Solid experience with SEO best practices and web analytics tools
4. Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and modern front-end development tools and pipelines
5. Strong understanding of UI/UX best practices and principles
6. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively
7. A high degree of ownership
8. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

Nice to haves

1. Experience with leveraging and maintaining a headless CMS
2. Experience with full-stack Next.js, including Server Side Rendering architectures
3. Knowledge of the cryptocurrency industry and blockchain technology
