Summary

Your Mission

We are seeking a full-time Senior Smart Contract Engineer to co-lead the design and build of TokenLogic institutional-grade vaults that optimise risk-adjusted on-chain yields for capital at scale. This role involves working closely with others to deisgn and build the optimisation engine that supports the automation of risk models to optimize risk and capital efficiency while safeguarding user funds.

You will be expected to support the roadmap and be responsible for delivering the full life cycle of a project from research ideas, creating proof of concepts and implementing features on our institutional-grade vaults. You will also have the opportunity of researching, testing and implementing features to our partner's protocol, such as Aave Protocol. In doing so, you will get the opportunity to work alongside some of the industries best and most respected developers.

Responsibilities

1. Vault Infrastructure: Co-lead the design, development, and maintenance of full-stack features for TokenLogic’s decentralized application, ensuring high performance and scalability
2. Collaboration: Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features and functionality, namely quant analysts, frontend and backend developer teams to deliver a cohesive and well integrate user experience.
3. Testing and Debugging: Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests to ensure the quality and security of smart contracts. Responding to security vulnerabilities, simulating the scenario, and evaluating a strategy and response.
4. Code Review and Optimization: Review and optimize code writtend by other engineers to ensure it meets the required standard and specification with a focus on security, performance and reduce gas costs.
5. Technical Support and Auditing: Provide technical support for our DeFi products and services, work with security researchers and auditors to identify and address optimisations opportunities/vulnerabilities.
6. Teamwork: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other engineers, fostering a collaboration and knowledge sharing culture within the team to drive innovation through proposing new approaches to overcome challenges.
7. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of smart contract code, functionality, and deployment processes.

About You

1. Education and Experience: Bachelor in Computer Science with 3-4 years of relevant experience.
2. Strong coding skills: Proficiency in Solidity and other languages like JavaScript, Python, and C++.
3. Understanding of blockchain technology: Ethereum, smart contracts, and other blockchain concepts, as well as experience working with Ethereum-based platforms like Foundry, Hardhat, or Remix.
4. Security awareness: Familiarity with common smart contract vulnerabilities and best practices for writing secure code.
5. Testing and debugging skills: Ability to write and execute test cases to ensure the quality and security of the smart contracts.
6. Problem-solving abilities: Aptitude for analysing complex problems and designing creative solutions in a fast-paced environment.
7. Communication skills: Proficiency in conveying technical concepts to non-technical team members and stakeholders.
8. Teamwork: Ability to work on a globally distributed team with a high degree of ownership and adapt to changing project requirements. Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
