We are building the data platform for blockchain, cryptocurrency, and web3. Our engineers deeply understand what is possible with cloud-native technologies and use those insights to enable our customers to push the boundaries of the cryptocurrency landscape.

Our Hexagate team's mission is to make Web3 safe and secure for everyone. We built a real time security platform which helps protocols, dApps, asset managers and service providers to protect their users and funds from theft caused by exploits or fraud. In the web3 and crypto space, security is a fundamental unsolved issue - the blockchain is highly adversarial and exploits in the order of hundreds of millions of dollars.

We are looking for a talented Researcher, who is excited about new and interesting technologies, and is ready to constantly learn about new technologies, and use that understanding to drive our exploit or fraud detection, and help us expand our platform.

The position is office-based in Tel Aviv.

In this job, you'll:

1. Design, implement and improve exploit and fraud detection models and frameworks
2. Be an expert on bleeding-edge web3 technologies
3. Write excellent code and be an integral part of engineering efforts
4. Solve sophisticated technical problems and "make hard things work"
5. Work in a small, agile, fast-moving team that is best in class

We’re looking for candidates who have:

1. Proven experience in research in highly technical environments / low level R&D
2. Ability to excel in a dynamic environment with rapidly changing requirements
3. Some previous experience in software development

Nice to have experience:

1. Blockchain prior experience / interest
2. Experience with Python, Go, or Rust
3. Experience with classic data science / machine learning (Not LLMs)
