Summary
As the Senior Manager of Compliance Operations, you will own operational management, execution and performance of MoonPay’s compliance workflows. This scope covers operations related to all tiers of retail onboarding (KYC), enhanced due diligence, Institutional onboarding, and KYB of MoonPay partners. Success in this role will be measured by conversion metrics, and your ability to identify and deliver on opportunities that increase success rates while maintaining compliance. You will drive alignment and progress against shared KPIs across Operations, Compliance, Product Engineering Design (PED), and Data teams. Ultimately, you will be responsible for simultaneously optimizing the customer’s experience and maximizing efficiency/cost, while meeting regulatory obligations.
🚀 What you will do
* Own conversion and pass rate metrics; identify opportunities and manage progress against shared KPIs across Operations, Compliance, PED and Data
* Responsible for the Compliance Operations tool stack, which includes owning business requirements, creating a rules-based logic framework (that determines how rules are stored and shipped in systems), and identifying ongoing improvements
* Own a change management framework to test vendor builds; ensure requirements are met before changes are shipped into production and are subsequently audited on a regular basis
* Oversee day-to-day vendor management across all KYC/KYB vendors, including performance, prioritization, goal setting, governance mechanisms and accountability
* Translate policy requirements into operational and technical requirements before implementation, in close partnership with PED and Compliance
* Manage cost-based KPIs and unit economics of Compliance Operations; own budget, investment and headcount decisions
* Own end-to-end operational execution of Compliance-related initiatives through effective Program Management
* Act as the single DRI for the execution of Compliance Operations; facilitate engagement and cross-functional alignment across stakeholders, drive clarity on goals and requirements, and inform prioritization by modeling opportunities with impact sizing
