As a Business Development Manager at Polygon Labs, you will lead strategic collaboration efforts with global enterprises, financial institutions, and Web3-native projects. Reporting to the Growth leadership team, you'll shape and execute go-to-market strategies, champion Polygon technology (Agglayer, CDK, PoS), and drive ecosystem expansion in areas such as RWA tokenization, DeFi, and cross-chain infrastructure. Your Responsibilities
- Identify and close high-impact commercial collaborations with enterprises, financial institutions, and ecosystem players to expand adoption of Polygon Labs' solutions, including Agglayer and CDK
- Execute region-specific growth strategies in North America, EMEA, LATAM, and APAC in alignment with local regulatory and market conditions
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Marketing) to deliver seamless integration experiences and post-deal success for collaborators
- Represent Polygon Labs externally at conferences, industry events, and social forums to advocate for our technology stack and ecosystem vision
- Conduct market research and analysis to track trends in RWA tokenization, stablecoins, DeFi, and broader Web3 infrastructure
- Maintain and grow a strong network of institutional and ecosystem contacts to uncover new strategic opportunities
What You’ll Need
- 5+ years experience in business development, enterprise sales, partnerships, or ecosystem growth, ideally within blockchain, fintech, or capital markets
- Strong understanding of blockchain protocols, Ethereum scaling (especially ZK rollups), smart contracts, and the broader Web3 ecosystem
- Proven track record of negotiating and closing complex commercial agreements
- Exceptional communication skills and comfort interfacing with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience operating in remote-first teams and across time zones
- Familiarity with Polygon Labs’ technology stack (Agglayer, CDK, Polygon PoS) preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in high growth series A-B startup, big tech, management consulting, or investment banking
- Existing relationships within blockchain, fintech, or capital markets ecosystems
- Experience working with RWA tokenization, custody, or enterprise blockchain use cases
- Proficiency in CRM tools and data-driven partnership reporting
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, technology or equivalent practical experience
- Willingness to travel to industry events and in-person meetings when required
