Summary

As Senior Legal Counsel (80-100%) at Crypto Finance Group, you will play a key role in a dynamic and fast‑growing environment at the forefront of the digital asset industry. In this position, you will provide expert legal guidance across a broad range of matters and support the company in navigating an evolving regulatory landscape. The starting date is as soon as possible at our office on the 24th floor of the Prime Tower in Zurich.

Responsibilities

1. Act as a senior legal expert within the Legal & Regulatory team, taking ownership of complex legal and regulatory matters and working closely with the Head of Legal & Regulatory
2. Take responsibility for strategic, group‑wide legal projects in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
3. Coordinate communication with regulatory authorities (e.g., FINMA, BaFin) and handle related requests
4. Provide high‑quality legal and regulatory advice across all business areas, including corporate governance matters
5. Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents; manage and instruct external counsel where needed
6. Support the Group’s international expansion by providing legal and regulatory guidance for new markets, including regions such as LATAM
7. Act as a key legal counterpart for institutional clients and their Legal teams
8. Contribute to business‑critical decision‑making processes from a legal and regulatory perspective
9. Help maintain and further develop the legal and regulatory framework for the Group companies
10. Monitor and assess relevant legal and regulatory developments, ensuring timely updates to internal stakeholders
11. Support the Head of Legal & Regulatory, the Executive Board, and the Board of Directors in legal and regulatory matters affecting the Group

Requirements

1. 3-5 years of experience as Legal & Regulatory Counsel, ideally with exposure to financial regulation or related areas; project management experience is highly desired
2. A master’s degree in Law or “Lizenziat” in Law from a Swiss University; admittance to the bar and additional relevant education is an asset
3. Knowledge of Web 3.0 and DLT is a strong asset
4. Experience working in an international and fast‑evolving environment, ideally within financial services, fintech, or technology
5. Proven ability to work in a structured, pragmatic, and efficient manner while maintaining high quality
6. A dynamic person with a positive attitude and strong motivational skills
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
8. Self-driven, results-oriented, and hands-on, with an attention to detail
9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both German and English
