The team

Kraken is seeking a bold and deeply analytical Senior Director of Product Growth to lead our Product-Led Growth (PLG) strategy and execution across the entire user journey—from onboarding and activation to habit formation, rewards/loyalty, and long-term retention. You will be the driving force behind Kraken’s growth loops and user lifecycle optimization, delivering both velocity and depth in experimentation and impact.

This is a rare opportunity to own one of the most critical growth levers at Kraken. You’ll lead a global, cross-functional team across product, engineering, design, data, and marketing to drive exponential traction for both 0→1 products and 1→N scale products. You’ll also lead our Growth Design team and forge strong partnerships with core product leaders.

The opportunity

  1. Own and drive Kraken’s end-to-end Product-Led Growth (PLG) strategy across onboarding, activation, engagement, rewards, habit formation, retention, and monetization.
  2. Architect scalable growth systems—from first-touch onboarding flows to long-term loyalty mechanics—that move key business metrics and user behavior.
  3. Build, scale, and lead a high-performing global growth team of PMs, engineers, designers (including Growth Design), analysts, and more.
  4. Be a deeply data-driven operator: define metrics, set targets, run robust A/B experiments, and make sharp, informed tradeoffs.
  5. Lead growth for both early-stage products (0→1) and scale existing experiences (1→N), ensuring traction across the product portfolio.
  6. Collaborate with core product leaders, engineering, data science, marketing, and brand to align growth initiatives with broader company objectives.
  7. Mentor and inspire the team with strategic clarity, executional excellence, and leadership gravitas.

Skills you should HODL

  1. 10+ years in product leadership, with significant time owning product growth, PLG, or lifecycle—ideally at a top-tier tech or fintech company (e.g., Revolut, Robinhood, Coinbase, etc.).
  2. Expertise in data and experimentation—you think in funnels, cohorts, loops, and LTV/CAC. You’re fluent in setting goals, reading dashboards, and driving impact through iteration.
  3. Experience leading rewards, loyalty, and gamification-style mechanics that drive retention and increase user lifetime value.
  4. Demonstrated success in building and scaling high-performing, cross-functional teams globally.
  5. Strong communication and executive presence—you can influence at every level and rally diverse stakeholders.
  6. Proven ability to lead 0→1 product launches and scale mature products with equal energy and clarity.
  7. Passion for crypto, financial freedom, and building at the edge of innovation.
