Summary

We are looking for a driven and strategic Senior Business Development Manager to join our growing commercial team. This person will play a key role in securing new sponsorship deals, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth.

Responsibilities and duties

1. Sponsorship Sales & Business Development

  1. Identify, approach, and secure new sponsorship opportunities across sports, entertainment, and lifestyle properties.
  2. Develop tailored partnership proposals that align brand objectives with property assets.
  3. Lead end-to-end sales processes — from prospecting and pitching to negotiation and contract closure.

2. Relationship Management

  1. Build and maintain long-term relationships with brand decision-makers
  2. Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their marketing goals and translating them into sponsorship strategies.

3. Market & Industry Insight

  1. Research market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities in the sponsorship landscape.
  2. Collaborate with the strategy and activation teams to ensure seamless campaign delivery and renewal opportunities.

4. Reporting & Revenue Growth

  1. Maintain accurate pipeline reports, forecasts, and CRM updates.
  2. Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.

Required Skills & Experience:

  1. 6-10 years of proven experience in sponsorship sales, partnerships, or brand collaborations (agency or rights-holder side).
  2. Strong network of marketing and brand contacts across multiple sectors.
  3. Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  4. Strategic thinker with the ability to craft creative sponsorship solutions.
  5. Results-driven, resilient, and self-motivated with a track record of meeting revenue goals.
  6. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  7. Knowledge of sponsorship valuation, activation, and ROI measurement.
  8. Familiarity with CRM tools.
  9. Experience working with sports, entertainment.
