Summary
We are looking for a driven and strategic Senior Business Development Manager to join our growing commercial team. This person will play a key role in securing new sponsorship deals, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth.
Responsibilities and duties
1. Sponsorship Sales & Business Development
- Identify, approach, and secure new sponsorship opportunities across sports, entertainment, and lifestyle properties.
- Develop tailored partnership proposals that align brand objectives with property assets.
- Lead end-to-end sales processes — from prospecting and pitching to negotiation and contract closure.
2. Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with brand decision-makers
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their marketing goals and translating them into sponsorship strategies.
3. Market & Industry Insight
- Research market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities in the sponsorship landscape.
- Collaborate with the strategy and activation teams to ensure seamless campaign delivery and renewal opportunities.
4. Reporting & Revenue Growth
- Maintain accurate pipeline reports, forecasts, and CRM updates.
- Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 6-10 years of proven experience in sponsorship sales, partnerships, or brand collaborations (agency or rights-holder side).
- Strong network of marketing and brand contacts across multiple sectors.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to craft creative sponsorship solutions.
- Results-driven, resilient, and self-motivated with a track record of meeting revenue goals.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Knowledge of sponsorship valuation, activation, and ROI measurement.
- Familiarity with CRM tools.
